Klængshóll Lodge in Skíðadalur Valley or Raven Hill Lodge in Ski Valley as it would translate to in English, is a great place for groups to base out of during your stay on the Troll Peninsula in Northern Iceland. The Lodge is an ancient sheep farm that's been continually inhabited from the time of the settlement of the Vikings in Iceland in circa 850AD. It has been in the same family for centuries and is family operated. 

The property consists of the Main House (the original farm house), 4 cottages which have been added in recent years, and the Barn which used to hold the winters supply of hay, but has now been restored to a place where guests can hang out by the wood burning stove in the comfortable yet rustic lounge.  The second floor has a large studio perfect for yoga or a few rounds of ping pong or watching a movie on the big screen.

During the summer months the midnight sun shines providing almost 24 hours of daylight.  The views created by the warm glow of the midnight sun are breathtakingly beautiful.  The Troll Peninsula comes alive with bright nights, lush green valleys, flowers and bird life.

The property at Klængshóll consists of the Barn, the old Sheephouse, 4 Cottages, the Bathhouse and the Main House. It is a perfect location for yoga retreats, group events and meetings, or a simple romantic or family getaway.

Each cottage has been designed with the guests comfort in mind furnished with a comfortable queen size bed in the cozy loft area , a sitting area downstairs, bathrobes,  and tea and coffee. All of the cottages provide views of the beautiful mountains and landscape surrounding the lodge.
