RESERVATION POLICIES

Please contact us by email to bookings@bergmenn.com to reserve accommodation at our Raven Hill Lodge, Karlsá Lodge or to book a trip. 

A non-refundable deposit and a completed registration form are required within 1 week of the reservation date to confirm your reservation. Bergmenn ehf. reserve the right to release any unpaid and unconfirmed reservations at any time. The deposit is 35% of the total package price. The exact amount will be calculated and sent back to the guest in the reply to his initial booking request. To secure your space, final payment is required 30 days prior to commencement of your package. If booking less than 30 days prior to your stay the full payment is due to confirm and secure the space. 

By the time of booking (via email or submitting a registration form) and paying a deposit, the client has entered into an agreement with Bergmenn ehf. The completed registration form along with the terms and conditions, lodging arrangements, trips or quote and the rates and dates constitute a legally binding agreement between Bergmenn ehf. and the guest.

BOOKING TERMS

The following information should be included in your booking enquiry:

-        Name, email and mobile phone number of a contact person

-        Number of guests, and the preferred types of rooms/apartments (single, double, twin)

-        Arrval and departure dates and timings at the Lodge

-        Whether additional meals should be included in the package, and if yes then when and for how many persons. 

-        Whether other services are requested, such as activity bookings or transportation, and if yes then when and for how many persons. 

The complete rooming list with the final number of guests and information about possible food allergies or special dietary requirements must be sent to bookings@bergmenn.com 2 weeks prior to your arrival at the latest. 

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check in starts at 16:00 on the day of arrival

Check-out is is at 11:00 on the day of departure

PRICES AND PAYMENTS

All prices are in Icelandic Krona, ISK. Currency exchange rates are based on the buying rate of the Central Bank of Iceland (www.cb.is/statistics/exchange-rate). 

Payments can be made with a bank transfer or with a credit card (Visa and Master Card). An invoice will be sent to the person/company that is responsible for payments. 

Prices for trips which have not been fully paid may change without prior notice. 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Cancellations must be made by email. If you are unable to attend your stay or package after the final payment date then the package is transferable to another person. 

Cancellation more than 30 days prior to the start date of package will result in loss of the nonrefundable deposit. If cancellation is received 30 days or less, prior to start of confirmed package then entire price is owed and non refundable. Bergmenn ehf. reserves the right to cancel any trip package at anytime. Should this occur a refund of payments, including deposit, less 3% administration fee will be given.

Your stay starts and finishes on the specified dates. There are no refunds, partial or full for late arrival or early departure for any reason, or sickness or injury 

MANAGEMENT / ORGANIZER 

Bergmenn ehf. is the organizer of the lodging at Raven Hill Lodge and Karlsá Lodge, and the organizer of guided services by Bergmenn which are described on our websites. Any travel agent or individual representing Bergmenn ehf. is acting only as an agent authorized for encashment. Note: These terms and conditions apply to all lodging and trips sold by or operated by Bergmenn ehf. (Bergmenn Mountain Guides, Arctic Heli Skiing, Raven Hill Lodge and Karlsá Lodge).
