Raven Hill Lodge was the highlight of our honeymoon in Iceland.
When we stayed here, we were the only guests and had the whole site to ourselves. The cabin was beautiful and romantic. The bath house was top notch - a wonderful sauna and incredible hot tub looking out over the valley. In the morning we had a huge breakfast with great variety. Located in a peaceful valley under a glacier, this property was the perfect way to experience the beauty of Northern Iceland. The cabins were cozy and very comfortable--more comfortable than our bed at home in fact. Close to whale watching options, hiking options and the Ring Road as well as the city of Akureyri. Klaengsholl Lodge offers a feast for breakfast-including fresh cinnamon rolls (my daughter ate her weight in those). Adding to the charm and relaxation factor was an outdoor hot tub and sauna house. This place is a gem. I hope we can stay there again soon. -Julie

The lodge is secluded, clean, in a wonderful valley, perfect to walk, hike or bike for miles right outside the room and watch the sun never really set. The details are all done very well and the hosts are gracious and fantastic chefs ! Highly recommend if you need to get away from the world. -Birta

This place is the best we stayed in the whole country. It exceeded our expectations. The lodges are gorgeous with amazing views over the valley and perfectly designed. Breakfast is amazing and the staff very helpful. -Sarah
Beautiful place!
In the middle of nature, it is somewhat secluded but it makes it charming. The apartments are very comfortable. Friendliness of the great staff. The Kitchen was a delight! I would repeat for sure! Everything I loved but you have to know that it is something out of the town so you should take what you need or plan to have dinner there, which is no problem because it is delicious! -Ana María
